BUILDING TRUST IN THE LORD (48):
The Limitless God (1)

We have journeyed through the scriptures to discover more about God, in order to restore and develop our trust in Him. The scriptures have shown and proved to us that God is trustworthy – in character, ability, strength and truth! All we have to do is to believe the scriptures, and make the decision to trust Him.

Our trust in God is further deepened when our relationship with Him grows stronger and stronger, especially, through our fellowship with Him in worship, prayer and the word. As we walk with the Lord and take practical steps of faith and trust, we discover more about Him, because each experience opens our eyes to the vastness of blessings that we have in Him.

I never cease to be amazed when the Holy Spirit gives me fresh revelation about God, especially, through the scriptures! With God, we can never stop learning; as we continue growing in our relationship with Him, over and over again, we gain fresh revelation about who He is and our trust in Him deepens.

THE LIMITLESS GOD

This is the experience I had, when one Sunday morning (several years ago, just before the pandemic started), I heard the Lord whisper in my ear, “I AM THE LIMITLESS GOD!!!”

Psalm 147:5 NASBS
“Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.”

I was lying in bed and reflecting on the challenges of our times; how everything around us seemed to be choking the life out of us – sickness, disease and death, pain, fear, anxiety and depression, uncertainty and all kinds of upheavals, sorrow and suffering all around us. Whichever way we turned, many felt limited, bound and unfulfilled. Many Christians were challenged in their faith; actually, faith seemed to elude many of us. Our problems, issues and challenges seemed to grow bigger and bigger, and God seemed to grow smaller, weaker; distant and unable to help us.

It was in the midst of all these perplexing thoughts about our ailing and failing world, that I heard the Lord God declare Himself as the Limitless God.

GOD IS UNCHANGING

Deuteronomy 32:1-4 NKJV
“[1] “Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. [2] Let my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distil as the dew, as raindrops on the tender herb, and as showers on the grass. [3] For I proclaim the name of the LORD: ascribe greatness to our God. [4] He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.”

The truth is that God is unchanging. He is the same yesterday today and forever. Deuteronomy 32:4 tells us that God

  • He is the Rock
  • His work is perfect
  • His ways are justice
  • He is a God of truth
  • He is without injustice
  • He is Righteous
  • He is upright

We need to know that God hasn’t changed over the years; He is still all these things and more. His word is still “Yea and amen.” His promises are still sure. His power is still potent. His is still able to do all things. His Spirit is still active in our lives and on the earth!

….THIS IS THE GOD WHO DECLARED HIMSELF AS THE LIMITLESS GOD, TO ME!!! AMEN!

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2024: “Building The Highway And Lifting The Banner”

“And in that day, there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek Him…. (therefore) Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!” [Isaiah 11:10, Isaiah 62:10]
