Dilemma & Hope
The Dilemma
The dilemma of the older generations of women is that many of them have had their gifts, abilities, talents and callings held back by culture, traditions, customs and even the Church limiting women. This has caused many women to be ‘redundant’ in Church by simply ‘filling the seats’.
If there is no crucial and urgent change, a new generation of women will grow up continuing where their mothers left off: not fully knowing their worth, capabilities and responsibilities in the body of Christ. Sad to say, this will continue to be a major setback to God’s kingdom if a radical mind-set shift does not occur.
There Is Hope
However, there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel and much change is in fact taking place!!! God is moving all over the world and is not only setting women free, He is also raising the next generation of women to serve Him! Many younger women are being influenced to rise up and make a radical change in their generation.
God is removing the limitations of culture, tradition, religion and prejudice! He is removing the barriers of fear, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and insecurity! God is setting women free, regardless of age, race and status, to worship, work and make a difference!
WIT Youth, therefore, is a ministry aimed at empowering young women to find out who they are in Christ, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to grow into a generation of strong mature women, and encouraging them to use their God-given gifts and abilities to impact the world for Jesus Christ, in their own special way!
