Isaiah 12:1-3 NKJV
“[1] And in that day you will say: “O LORD, I will praise You; though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. [2] Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.'” [3] Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”
Today and everyday is “THAT DAY,” when we can declare and celebrate our great salvation and deliverance from sin, death and satan, and reconciliation with God. What an awesome thing to know God as or salvation – indeed, it was Jesus Christ, the Son of God who came down on earth, lived and died a cruel death to save us from damnation! He rose again to give us victory!
Therefore, today, I BOLDLY DECLARE that “I trust and am not afraid, because YAH, the LORD, has become my salvation, strength and song!”
1 Samuel 2:1 NKJV
“And Hannah (Jennifer Abigail) prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation.”
There is a wide smile on my face and such joy in my heart as I write; I can confidently rejoice in the full knowledge of what Jesus Christ has done for me, you and all humanity! Yes, it is this same joy that gives me the strength to navigate today and every other day.
Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV
“…For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
THINK OF THIS CAREFULLY
Isaiah 12:3 NKJV
“Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”
If you know that you have been bought and legally adopted into God’s family; if you know that your provision is secure, and you don’t have to worry about what to eat or wear because God is your loving and responsible Father who generously takes care of His children; if you know that you are precious to God, therefore, He protects you Himself and will deliver you from any attacks or difficult situations you find yourself in; if you know that He provided healing and restoration for you in the contract of your adoption; if you know that your future, all the way into eternity is secured; if you know that because of this great salvation, you have absolutely nothing to be afraid of… YOU SHOULD BE JOYFUL, HAPPY AND CONTENT!!!
The privilege of knowing all this fills my heart with joy today! This kind of joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, therefore, I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to not only fill me with joy, but almost help me sustain it; as I navigate the challenges of life. And you know what? THIS IS MY PRAYER FOR YOU ALSO!!!
