It is impossible for me to count the number of times that the Lord has protected and/or delivered me from evil. I can testify that His right hand has always prevailed and done valiantly on my behalf and on behalf of my loved ones. Indeed, He is Jehovah Mephalti – the Lord, My Deliverer!
Psalm 118:13-14 NLT
“[13] My enemies did their best to kill me, but the LORD rescued me. [14] The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.“
This is my testimony and source of joy today! The Lord has shown Himself as the One who delivers and preserves the lives of His people.
Psalm 124:6-8 NKJV
“[6] Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. [7] Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. [8] Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.”
In the early hours of yesterday morning, one of the Country Directors of our ministry (Women In Tune) and her team were involved in a near fatal accident. They were travelling on their way back home from a very successful mission, when the accident occurred. It is a miracle that they all survived with no broken limbs. I am still numb and in awe of this Great God that we serve!
Our teams consist of ordinary women who have discovered the joy of knowing and serving Jesus. They voluntarily travel up and down their nations (sometime travelling for many hours), to share the truth of God’s word with other women, disciple and train the Body of Christ, as well as preach the Gospel with the unsaved. They have no protection, covering or assistance from anybody, except God.
Isaiah 54:5 NKJV
“For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.”
Jesus Christ has always been a Husband to Women In Tune and protected our women (and any men with them), as they have gone about His business. Yesterday, was no different; HE SHOWED UP AND DELIVERED THEM FROM DEATH!!!
Psalm 118:15-17 NLT
“[15] Songs of joy and victory are sung in the camp of the godly. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things! [16] The strong right arm of the LORD is raised in triumph. The strong right arm of the LORD has done glorious things! [17] I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the LORD has done.”
Today, we are all rejoicing and truly in awe of God. Indeed, THE LORD HAS NOT PUT US TO SHAME! His right hand has done valiantly on our behalf! His Blood and Cross have prevailed and given us victory. Saying THANK YOU seem so inadequate, but God knows and sees our hearts…
Deuteronomy 33:26-29 NKJV
“[26] There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, Who rides the heavens to help you, and in His excellency on the clouds. [27] The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, ‘Destroy!’ [28] Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, in a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew. [29] Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty!
