AN ALTAR OF THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE (9):
He Will Not Put Me To Shame…!

I may not know everything, but one thing I am so confident about our God is that He will never put me to shame! How do I know? The scriptures have said this over and over again, and I have come to both believe and experience it! Let me share some of these scriptures with you…

Isaiah 50:7-9 NKJV
“[7] For the Lord GOD will help Me; therefore I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed. [8] He is near who justifies Me; who will contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me. [9] Surely the Lord GOD will help Me; who is he who will condemn Me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; the moth will eat them up.”

Isaiah 54:4-5 NKJV
“[4] Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth…. [5] For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.”

Joel 2:26-27 NKJV
“[26] You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame. [27] Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.”

Romans 10:11 NKJV
“For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.””

1 Peter 2:6 NKJV
“Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

These scriptures testify to the faithfulness of God, that He will never put me to shame. I am so grateful to the Father for the faith to believe His word. Now, “The Lord will never put us to shame” has become my slogan; it is a declaration of faith in the gracious and loving nature of our Father. He will never embarrass or disgrace me or cause me to be humiliated. Even when the enemy tries to put me to shame, the Father always come through, vindicates me and glorifies His name on my behalf.

Today, my declaration is, “My dear Jesus, I praise and thank You because I know that You will never put me to shame. You are my Glory and the Lifter of my head! Hallelujah!”

Psalm 34:4-5 NKJV
“[4] I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. [5] They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.”

My prayer is that you would also develop and have the confidence that God will never put you to shame. Has He not said it, and will He not do it? He has said He will never put you to shame, and you better believe it, because He IS a God of His word!

The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir’s song, “PSALM 34” is ringing in my heart. I love the chorus which says, “Magnify the Lord with me; come exalt His name together. Glorify the Lord with me, come exalt His name forever.” Click on the link and join me in singing and praising the Lord. https://youtu.be/DfW2mkkMTAg?si=cgHucqfubtA-ZipJ

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2024: “Building The Highway And Lifting The Banner”

“And in that day, there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek Him…. (therefore) Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!” [Isaiah 11:10, Isaiah 62:10]
