May I share something very important with you? Moving forward in life, your biggest need at this time is to develop strength in the Lord. This must be our earnest desire and focus – to grow to know the Lord intimately, and to become strong in our walk with Him, in Spirit and in Word.
Ephesians 6:10 NKJV
“Finally, my brethren, BE STRONG in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
These were Paul’s words of encouragement to us, before he even began to tell us about the nature of our warfare and the armour that God has provided for us. And we need to hear these words over and over again, because we are going to need them in the days ahead, when all things are being shaken.
When the people of Israel were about to cross the Jordan into the promised land, knowing the challenges that lay ahead of them, the LORD spoke to Joshua and commanded him three times…
Joshua 1:6-7,9 NLT
“[6] BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. [7] BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. [9] This is my command-be BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
On another occasion, the Prophet Haggai also delivered a word from the LORD to the leaders and people of Israel; as they rebuilt the temple, under several threats and interferences from their enemies. Again, three times, the LORD encouraged them to be strong…
Haggai 2:4-5 NKJV
“[4] Yet now BE STRONG, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD; ‘and BE STRONG, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and BE STRONG, all you people of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the LORD of hosts. [5] ‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’”
As we also move forward, during these challenging and uncertain times, the Father is encouraging us to BE STRONG in Him and in His mighty power! TODAY, may this be your heart’s desire and prayer, to grow in the knowledge of the LORD and become strong in Him.
Psalm 31:24 NASBS
“Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.” AMEN!!!

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2024: “Building The Highway And Lifting The Banner”
“And in that day, there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek Him…. (therefore) Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!” [Isaiah 11:10, Isaiah 62:10]
