THIS GREAT SALVATION! (5):
For God So Loved The World…

“Man of Sorrows,” what a name
For the Son of God who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim!
Hallelujah! What a Saviour!

The most fragile, yet most powerful, picture one could ever imagine or look upon, is that of a weak, rejected, broken and blood-covered naked man hanging on a cross. It is impossible to imagine, let alone believe and proclaim, that this seemingly weak, broken and bloody man is a king; let alone the King of kings, Lord of lords and God!

Indeed, God fulfilled His promise to deliver humanity from sin by providing a sacrificial lamb for Himself. Jesus Christ, the Son of God came down to earth in human form, died a painful and cruel death on the cross to pay the ransom for sin, and save and redeem us.

1 Corinthians 15:3 TPT
“For I have shared with you what I have received and what is of utmost importance: The Messiah died for our sins, fulfilling the prophecies of the Scriptures.”

By His death on the Cross, Jesus paid the full price for our sin, unrighteousness and separation from God; His blood was shed to reconcile us with God. (Colossians 1:20)

A DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE

Herein is the mystery – God demonstrated His love for humanity through death. Indeed, the greatest evidence of God’s love for us, is the death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
“[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [1] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

God certainly does not want anyone to go to hell or face eternal death and separation from Him. On the other hand, God wants us to be reconciled with Him and experience life eternal with Him. Despite His hatred for sin, God loves the sinner, and so loves all humanity.

Therefore, Jesus, the Son of God, became human for the purpose of our salvation. He became like us, and suffered a cruel death, to accomplish the great work of deliverance, salvation and reconciliation with God.

The only thing that God requires from us, in order to be partakers of this great salvation and its benefits, is to simply believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 6:40). If you have not yet believed in Jesus, now is the time to do so.

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2024: “Building The Highway And Lifting The Banner”

“And in that day, there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek Him…. (therefore) Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!” [Isaiah 11:10, Isaiah 62:10]
